Green Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is so simple to make, packed with greens, some fruit and you can get creative when it comes to toppings! There’ not really rules when it comes to green smoothie bowls, but you want it to be thicker. We suggest to add the greens, some frozen fruit (banana makes it so creamy and sweet!) and Grilo Organic Super Greens & Cricket Powder. Can’t go wrong!

We’ve been having green smoothies and smoothie bowls every single day for breakfast, and since we started to add cricket protein powder to it, it got us to another level. No cravings and it’ amazing how we feel full and satisfied for some good hours!

Ingredients:

Base

  • 1 tbsp (10g) Grilo Organic Super Greens & Cricket Powder
  • 2 medium bananas, previously sliced and frozen
  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • 1 large handful of kale
  • 1 tbs fresh turmeric
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup of water or coconut water

 

Toppings
Chia seeds / Desiccated coconut / Fresh fruit / Granola / Sunflower seeds / Nuts (raw or roasted) / Goji berries

Method:

Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Add more water or coconut water to thin, but for a smoothie bowl you want it thick.
Done! Now pour into a bowl and be creative with the toppings!
