Grilo co-founder Lucas with students after a fun workshop for the Food & Nutrition class at St. Michael’s College, Ashgrove QLD.

Let’s talk bugs.

Grilo is on a mission to spread the word about eating bugs and educate people of the impact our food has on the Planet. Is your institution or school keen on teaching about a sustainable and forward-thinking topic such as edible bugs?

We’ve been visiting schools and offering livestream workshops to speak all things edible bugs and make nutrition classes fun, engaging and memorable!

“An awesome experience – students were speechless! I used the Organic Cricket Powder as part of a Year 11 and Year 12 Food Studies Prac. The students were very excited about tasting the Cricket powder and found the experience to be amazing. It generated lots of conversation.”

— Carmela Marino, Teacher
Avila College, QLD

“Ideal for students. The presentation was informative, engaging and multi-dimensional. The students thoroughly enjoyed sampling cricket protein products in various forms and were enlightened to discover that eating bugs was pleasant. I highly recommend Grilo Protein as a suitable incursion for school students.”

— Laura Barett, Teacher
Corinda State High School, QLD
